Strasbourg airport

In addition to the Strasbourg International Airport which is situated 18 km from the city centre by freeway, Strasbourg can be easily reached from other international airports in the proximity (see below for Karlsruhe-Baden Airport and EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg).

Transport from Strasbourg International Airport

Shuttle bus (navette)
A shuttle bus operates between Strasbourg International Airport and the Baggersee tram station all year round. Shuttle leaves the airport every 30 minutes between 5.10am and 23.15pm. The journey lasts for 12 minutes and the price of one way ticket is 5,10 €. At the Baggersee tram station, you can take the tram line A which will guide you directly to the centre of the city.

Taxi
You can also take a taxi from the Airport - taxis are available in front of the main airport building until 11 pm, that is, until the last scheduled flight.

Parking at the airport
45 parking places situated closest to the airport building marked with a PO signs are free for first 15 minutes of stay. This signs also mark the places for motorcycles and bicycles. Long-term parking places are marked with signs P1, P2, P3 and P4. The first hour of parking costs 3 Euros (except at P4 where it’s 4 Euros) and is rising for one Euro every additional hour. Your parking tickets must be paid at one of few automatic pay stations placed in the airport building. Passengers with special needs or disability requiring help can use the call button at the pay station upon their arrival. After identifying yourself to the called agent, he will meet you on an indicated place at the parking lot.

Karlsruhe-Baden Airport

This German airport is situated approximately 40 km from Strasbourg and among others, provides regular Ryanair flights to and from all the mayor European cities. EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg

This international airport is situated on the very border of France, Switzerland and Germany. With Strasbourg, the airport is very well connected by train - approximately 90 min. trip will get you to Basel (or vice versa) where you can get local bus no. 50 to the airport. The bus leaves from the Swiss part of the main train station and the journey to the airport lasts about 20 min. A small, but very useful tip - ticket must be paid in Swiss francs so be sure to change the money before you take the bus (the change machines can be found in the main railway station).
You can also take an airport navette from Mulhouse (France) which takes off from the main train station but which is not good for very early flights as it doesn't function before 8:00 AM.
